SPPG Alumni Working Sectors (AWS)

We are excited to announce the launch of a new initiative under our alum network – the Alum Working Sectors (AWS)! This initiative is designed to foster collaboration, networking, and professional development among our esteemed SPPG alum community; beaming emphasis on policy, politics, governance, communication, advocacy, innovation.

Alumni Working Sectors (AWS) are specialized groups with peculiar themes for individual member development. The SPPGAA expects to carry out its professional activities through each group. The potential to increase the number of existing groups will depend on sponsorship by interested members and presentation of proposal. Such will include a specified number of sponsors who show desire and ability to comply with these guidelines.

The SPPGAA exco reserves the right to vote and consider the proposal to accept or reject same. Such a decision is final.

Activities of the Groups are always subject to these guidelines. SPPGAA exco reserves the right to amend and shall veto any decision made at the group level.

SPPG Minis

This committee focuses on propagating the message and spirit of the SPPG across the world, campaigning in any part of the Diaspora to look for prospective students, and setting up, running and maintaining mini hubs to spread, teach and demonstrate the SPPG’s mission to produce a new generation of public leaders who serve a new class of enlightened citizens.

Policy Think-tank

This committee serves as the intellectual backbone to analyze, research, and formulate evidence-based policies that address pressing issues, foster growth, and drive positive change with a focus on the economy, policy discussions, Bills on the NASS floor and writing policy papers.

This committee is made up of Alumni who are currently in the communication space or a passionate about communication who will implement the SPPGAA social strategy to showcase the quality of minds that have passed through the SPPG; and would support the EXCOs to drive the activities being carried out by the other committees; would build a communication plan for activities that would being carried out by the Alumni in the coming year.
